Eyal Raz Lyrics
Music arranged and composed By Eyal Raz & Yuval Mesner
Once upon a time
There Was a King who ruled a queen.
Once upon a time
A prince became a king
One clear policy.
To them it seemed,
The one and only.

Lyrics and music composed By Eyal Raz.
All music arranged By Eyal Raz & Yuval Mesner.
He was born in 1964
To Mom and Dad
An unadopted boy.
He grew up
with a silver spoon,
In his Mom and Dad’s
tight embrace.
People around him
used to say.
He is sweet like candy
an adorable boy.
Nevertheless his weakness
was his shade.
The troubles began,
When high school started.
He closed behind him
door after door,
No body was aloud
to get close to his soul.
He sat in his room
Next to his desk.
Burning flies
on the lampshade’s steel,
His eyes sparkled
against the lamp,
A new soul started
to replace the space.
Some years had passed,
And he understood, that
He must open one of the doors,
He locked all the others
And left behind him
His room:
Went back to the people
that he left before.
Ready for them
with a new soul.
An adorable boy
Nevertheless some people
Disliked his face.
The high school principal called
his parents for a meeting.
To tell them: "your boy is RUINED"!
"You must stop him at once"!
His parents became scared
from the principal’s threat,
They decided to fight for his life
By destroying his chosen life,
Breaking the doors, burning his room,
No care of how it will end.
A war broke out
at the front line,
And he found himself
fighting for his soul.
Trying to protect his dream
to play in this world,
he couldn’t go back to his room,
conscripted soldiers for war
mighty forces from his soul,
never the less
He will never again
See his home.
He was born in 1964
To Mom and Dad
An unadopted boy.

The King & The Prince
04:41
|
|||
All words and music composed By Eyal Raz.
All music arranged By Eyal Raz & Yuval Mesner.
Once upon a time lived a king who had a Queen.
His kingdom was ruled by him,
In a clear way of policy,
Which seemed to him,
The one and only.
From an impulse of creation, they made some creatures,
To perform for them a show.
Which was produced by
His majesty the King,
The greatest one.
The King played the flute The Queen played the guitar
On the stage three princes
Were dancing, keeping
The rhythm of the band.
The first few years passed with no interruptions
The show ran on earth
With a big success
Until one day, a prince decided to leave.
The King became mad!
And his face turned red,He didn’t understand
Why the prince left the stage
And he couldn’t accept his different way
The King gathered his nights and commanded them
To search for his child
No matter what will happens
Dead or alive!
He gave them Permission to start a fight.

The War

Lyrics Eyal Raz music arranged and composed By
Eyal Raz & Yuval Mesner
Once upon a time
There Was a King who ruled a queen.
Once upon a time
A prince became a king
One clear policy.
To them it seemed,
The one and only.
Army’s fighting
On the hills all around
The dead and wounded,
Lay scattered on the ground,
Their lifeless eyes gaze up at the sky,
So futile were the tricks, the king did try,
Defeated by his prince
A head held high.
A war with no consequences,
The aftermath stayed the same,
The king and prince
Dug deeper in their trenches,
Fortifying fortifications,
Once upon a time
There Was a King who ruled a queen.
Once upon a time
A prince became a king
One clear policy.
To them it seemed,
The one and only.

Renounces
05:57
|
|||
Lyrics Eyal Raz. music arranged and composed
By Eyal Raz & Yuval Mesner.
Deep smoke and smell of war,
Walking around against the walls.
Checking if the foundations
Are strong enough.
Around around against the walls,
Looking for some sign
That will help me to find a reason:
Why all this happened to us.
Leaning my back against the wall,
Closing my eyes:
I let myself
Drift into a dream,
Searching through time,
Where all of it started
In our life…
Renounces, Renounces…
Maybe I had to
Renounce the world,
Renounce the way,
To look for a better way.
Renounce the world
Renounce my soul,.
To stop this bloody war.
I remember that once
We held a meeting
I remember that we sat
Drinking wine
Talking about our life
Both of us trying to explain
His own way
I remember I looked deep
In to his eyes
Maybe to find an open mind.
I tried to explain
That the ocean
Starts from a stream
And becomes a river
Until it creates this blue ocean
The Ocean of ideas
Ideas of fathers and sons
..But he didn't try to understand
Got stuck with his thoughts
He didn't give a chance
To stop this war…
Renounces, Renounces…
Maybe I had to
Renounce the world,
Renounce the way,
To look for a better way.
Renounce the world
Renounce my soul,.
To stop this bloody war.
Deep smoke and smell of war
Leaning here against the wall.
I feel the endless weariness
I'm still here to lead my state
To guard against a fall
He left me here with my doubts
Doubts it all
Maybe I had to renounce the world.
Renounces Renounces …..

Confidence
04:41
|
|||
Lyrics Eyal Raz Music composed& arranged
By Eyal Raz & Yuval Mesner.
I am the greatest king
There is no doubt
I have one way only
My experience shows me
If you have any doubts?
Please, somebody come and tell me.
I am the greatest king
There is no doubt
Should I add words about my sons
Who destroyed this show on life?
This is a waste of time.
This prince I will teach
The cruelty of life.
I created the show
To be a success,
I put a side of my desires
My sons are supposed
To keep the show running
To become stars on earth.
I'm a king who had a dream
About a life I wished to live
But I was destined to walk on earth
In a Different way from what I chose
That these princes are supposed to understand.
I'm sitting here in my palace
Looking from my window
Watching that wall to remind me of
My knights who are at war
Waiting to see the wall fall
I'm sure that I'm alright
I'm not the one to blame
That’s LIFE...
I am the greatest king
There is no doubt
I have one way only
My experience shows me
If you have any doubts?
Please, somebody come and tell me.
Now my life is chaotic
My kingdom is ruined
I did everything I could
I made every effort to create the show
Success on earth
Not even one son
Appreciated it.

Apath & Athetic
06:13
|
|||
Lyrics and music composed By Eyal Raz.
All music arranged By Eyal Raz & Yuval Mesner.
In the King's palace
Lived two princes
They were sitting
Around the pool
Immersing their legs
In the water
Servants surrounded them
Served them with wine
They had a pathetic smile
Athetic said…..
I’m full of hope that
The prince will win the war
Because if things will finally change
I will demand all my desires.
Apath said
With a grinning smile
You are wrong my old bro
A big failure I predict
Because the king will not allow
A mouse defeating a cat
And eating all his cheese.
In the King's palace
Lived two princes
They were sitting
Around the pool
Immersing their legs
In the water
Servants surrounded them
Served them with wine
They had a pathetic smile
Athetic Took a sip from the wine
I’ve always connected these two
I know the ideas of every side.
But I think it is time
To choose a side.
Apath become tensed
Don’t let it mess with our minds
Let’s drink our wine
Time hasn’t come yet
To leave all this behind
The prince
Will do it all fine.
In the King's palace
Lived two princes
They were sitting
Around the pool
Immersing their legs
In the water
Servants surrounded them
Served them with wine
They had a pathetic smile
In a king’s palace
Lived two apathetic jacks
They were sitting
Around the pool
Immersing their legs
In the water
Servants surrounded them
Served them with wine
Their faces were all smiles.

The Train Of Life
04:28
|
|||
All words and music composed By Eyal Raz.
All music arranged By Eyal Raz & Yuval Mesner.
Once I read about a man
That someone gave him a watch
That when he feel the best
He can press on the switch
And the time will be stopped.
But he never stopped the watch
Because every time he felt,
That the time is right
He thought maybe
In the future it will suit him more.
But I had once a time
I remember this well in mind
And I think that
If I had this kind of watch
I would have stopped my time.

The Tale
07:29
|
|||
Lyrics and music composed By Eyal Raz.
All music arranged By Eyal Raz & Yuval Mesner.
I remember my father telling me,
An inspiring tale.
Of some thing that happened to him
When he was young
About a boat that he had saved,
I don't know if it's a real tale,
But for those with out hope,
This tale can make them strong.
On a winter’s day.
A boat with students sailed away.
They didn’t hear a warning of a storm.
No other boat was leaving the shore
But the sky was blue and the sea was quiet
Everything seemed like it's gonna be fine.
On a winter’s day
My father and his students
Left the shore and sailed away.
Suddenly the sea got rough,
The sky turned black,
The birds had gone, and
Rain was pouring.
Big waves were coming, the boat was shaking,
But this tale had just begun,
My father's tale.
Yeah, my father told me a tale,
That on that winter day,
A boat with students lost its way,
Fear of danger took over them.
My father took a risk,
He said: "Maybe it was a foolish thing"!
He jumped into the freezing water,
Trying to reach the shore,
In search for help.
The swells were rising up,
The sky turned black,
The birds were gone,
The rain kept falling.
Big waves were coming, my father was swimming.
Yeah, oh yeah... the tale goes on.
My father’s tale.
This is the essence of the tale,
My father was fighting for his life.
The sea threatened his soul,
Desperation took control.
He began to feel scared
When he didn't see a chance for help.
The shore was far,
And everything seemed bad.
"Nothing left to do" he said,
"I began to sing songs,
That helped me fight the storm.
I sang all the songs I knew,
Until I reached the shore".
I succeeded to save them all.
"You see” my father told me:
"When things look bad,
You feel trapped and can’t
Find a way out.
Be strong and
Decide
To find the song,
That will distract your fear
Your song overcoming despair
'cause when in stormy waters
This will help you get through
A winter day.

My Princess
03:15
|

Lyrics Eyal Raz. Music Composed By Yuval Mesner. Music arranged By Eyal Raz & Yuval Mesner.
Sweet babe I have something to tell you
about a promise I want to leave with you
My love for you has no conditions
I will be there for you if you win or lose
Perform like there is no tomorrow
Carry out your show with all your heart
And if you fall, stand up quickly
Remember my spirit within you
I don’t have to like your show
And maybe your way is different from mine
Sometimes our warriors will be ready for battle
But it’s unperceivable your sword against mine
Sweet babe we sit in motion
A motion of our circle of life
We have to keep, keep on moving
That you and I can act this show in life.
I will be there if you need me
And I will guide you if you need
My hand will hug around you gently
My knights will be ready for your command
I don’t have to like your show
And maybe your way is different from mine
Sometimes our warriors will be ready for battle
But it’s unperceivable your sword against mine
